The anime ataptation for Appleseed is confirmed with a whole 13 episode titled Appleseed XIII. it will be in 3D CG just like those from the previous 2 movies but the story is said to differ from the it. However the case, the main characters Deunan and Briareos will still be in the story. Masamune Shirow himself will be working on this anime so it would be nice and original to see this classic back on tv again soon...
